DIY and Disconnect: Halloween Spectacular

Halloween is on Tuesday, so this is the last weekend to cram in some festive crafts to dress up your spooky soiree! In order to honor one of our favorite holidays, we decided to wave our magic wands, stir our cauldrons, do some hocus-pocus, and show you not one, not two, but THREE Halloween DIYs. Hey now!

To kick us off, here’s how you can make some spooky Halloween frames to show your guests where the “boos” is at, or just to welcome them to the party!

Spooky Frames Materials

For this craft, you’ll need:

  • Black paper
  • Cloth or paper doilies
  • Simple frames
  • Metallic marker

Step one: decorate the inserts

This one is super simple. Glue the doily where you would like it on the paper…

…then decorate with a spooky saying!

Step two: frame it up

We said it was simple. All that’s left to do is pop it in a frame and display it at your soiree! Up next? Creepy candles.

Creepy Candle Materials

For this project, you’ll need:

  • Black taper candles
  • Rhinestones
  • Hot glue

Step one: the only step

This is a one step project! Glue rhinestones to the tapers and place them in your favorite candlesticks to shed some spooky light on your Halloween feast.

For the final project, we’ve got a Halloween wreath that’s got it’s eyes on you.

Eyeball Wreath Materials

For this project, you’ll need:

  • A wreath form
  • Festive Halloween tinsel
  • Eyeballs
  • Hot glue

Step one: tinsel

First, wrap your wreath form with tinsel and secure with hot glue.

Step two: eyeballs!

Now, use hot glue to adhere eyeballs all over your wreath…creepy!

It looks awesome under a black light…

And utterly spooky when paired with your other Halloween crafts!

Cheers—happy crafting!
