So how do you make a homemade sprinkle candle? We’re glad you asked. Check it out below!
For this sprinkle-rific candle project, you will need:
- Soy wax flakes
- Vanilla scented wax cubes
- Pre-waxed wicks
- 16oz mason jars with lids
- Rainbow sprinkles
- Corn syrup
- Glue gun
- Paint brush
Step one: prep!
Using a glue gun, adhere your pre-waxed wick to the bottom of your mason jar.
Step two: hit it with sprinkles!
Now, using a mixture of one part corn syrup, and two parts water, coat the inside of your mason jar with a paintbrush.
Then, shake in a generous amount of sprinkles and roll them inside until the sides of your jar are fully coated.
Step three: melt the wax
Now, put your wax flakes and scented cubes in a microwave safe bowl and heat for three minutes, stirring halfway through.
Step four: pour
Now, put the melted wax in a spouted pitcher, and pour into your jars. TIP: You can lay a pencil across the tops of your jars to keep the wick in place.
Step five: finishing touches
Let them set overnight, or place them in the freezer for 3 hours to speed up the process. Then, all that’s left to do is enjoy them!
Enjoy – Happy crafting!
