“Believe”by Josh Groban from The Polar Express soundtrack! I absolutely love this song because it reminds me of when I was a kid at Christmas time. The song helps to bring back all the wonderful memories at a christmas I had growing up. It truly captures the joy and magic of a Christmas. I still remember just how excited I got on Christmas Eve and I could hardly contain myself. We would always have a nice Christmas Eve dinner early with all of our lights on and sparkling with christmas carols playing gently in the background. Then after dinner my sister and I would turn up the good old Boney M Christmas c.d. and have a swinging dance party. We would all sing the top of our lungs and dance like there was no tomorrow. Then We would get all cleaned up in a new Christmas dresses and head out to Christmas Eve candlelight service at my Grandpa’s big old church where he was the minister. I can still remember the sheer excitement because I knew that Santa was on his way. I always had knots in my tummy just from excitement and having very little patience and when it became time for candlelight when they dimmed the lights and the organist began playing Silent Night and we all began singing holding ou thinking lit candles, and my tiny hands were so shaky I just wanted to get through it because I had no patience at all. Once we got back home we always made hot chocolate, put on a Muppet’s Christmas Carole or A Christmas Story, and open a couple of presents. It truly was the best time of the year, and I still feel that way today as an adult. I still feel very warm, peaceful, and joyful in my heart during the Christmas season! 🎄❤️🎄💚
