You read that correctly: Maple. Mudslide. Sounds pretty ah-mazing, huh? We bet you didn’t even know you wanted one!
Today we are sharing a cocktail from out Vermont Paint Nite and Plant Nite Creative Entrepreneur, Diane Kingston. It comes as no surprise that Diane suggested we give the Vermont Maple Mudslide a try.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have access to Vermont Ice Maple Creme Liquor from Boyden Valley Winery, so we came up with our own solution. We also added “go to Boyden Valley Winery” to our travel to-do list. #reasons
We can not thank Diane enough for sharing this drool-worthy treat! We swear, this cocktail is the only treat you’re going to want to make like…ever, plus it’s delicious any time of year! Did we mention it is super simple too? Triple win!
Here’s how to make this dessert… we mean cocktail.
For the Maple Mudslide, you will need:
- 2oz maple whiskey (we opted for Cabin Fever)
- 1oz Bailey’s
- 1oz Kahlua
- Vanilla ice cream
- Whipped cream
Step one: make the pour over
First, add two ounces of whiskey into a container.
Then, add a shot of Bailey’s…
…and a shot of Kahlua! Mix this together and set aside.
Step two: ice cream!
Now, fill two glasses with a scoop of ice cream and pour your whiskey, Bailey’s, Kahlua mixture over it!
Step three: yum!
Finally, top with whipped cream and your favorite straw…
Cheers – happy sipping!
