Happy Holidays! Can you believe that New Year’s Eve is only a few short days away? Time flies when you’re having fun.
We’ve spent the season creating all kinds of holiday cocktails (have you tried our White Christmas Mojito or our Gingerbread Latte Martini yet?) and are officially ready to say goodbye to 2017 in style with today’s Signature Sips recipe, the New Year’s Prosecco Punch.
Whether you’re hosting the ultimate New Year’s Eve bash, attending a soiree with friends, or just counting down in your pajamas on the sofa, give this festive drink a try. After all, you can always have champagne. Cocktail punches are for special occasions and you’re feeling fancy. At least we hope so 😉
One of the best parts of making this Prosecco punch is that you can really mix it up and play around with the ingredients. Punches are incredibly forgiving and it’s going to taste amazing regardless of how you swing it. Have some leftover Cran-Tangerine? Add it in. Need it stronger? TWO bottles of Prosecco! Try it and taste it. When it hits that sweet spot, put the ingredients away and grab a glass or two.
Here’s how to get started.
For this cocktail, you will need:
- 1 bottle of cranberry juice
- Approx. 3 cups of pomegranate juice
- Approx. 2 cups orange juice
- Juice of 2 limes
- 3 limes, sliced
- 3 clementines, sliced
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- Seeds from 1 pomegranate
- 1 bottle of Prosecco (or two! You make the rules)
- 1¼ cups vodka
- Small bunch of mint leaves
Slice up your limes and oranges and toss them into the bottom of your punch bowl. Whisper “so long 2017!” Pour in the cranberries and pomegranate seeds with reckless abandon.
Add the juices and stir. If you’re making this punch ahead of the party, go ahead and cover it up and put it into the fridge at this point for a few hours. If you’re minutes until party time, no worries. You’ve got this.
Add Prosecco, vodka, and ice. Go ahead and take a sip to make sure it’s exactly how you want it. Adjust measurements accordingly. Finally, top with mint.
Grab your prettiest, most festive glassware and get ready for that New Year’s Eve countdown.
3, 2, 1… HAPPY NEW YEAR!
