Pimm’s No. 1, dating back to 1851, is a Summer staple for folks around the world. As a signature cocktail at luxurious English events such as Wimbledon and the Chelsea Flower Show, the Pimm’s Cup has won the hearts of many with its sweet, bubbly, and herbal flavors. With the warmer weather creeping in slowly, we wanted to look forward to long Summer days spent with Pimm’s in hand. Today, we give you our take on the classic Pimm’s Cup.
For such a celebrated aperitif, the Pimm’s Cup is quite simple to concoct! Follow along below for the three easy steps.
For this cocktail, you will need:
- Pimm’s No. 1
- English-style lemonade (carbonated) or ginger ale
Step one: Pimm’s
To start, fill your glasses with ice. Then, pour two ounces of Pimm’s into each of your glasses.
Step two: lemonade
Now, fill your glasses to the top with your lovely and bubbly lemonade (or ginger ale). Don’t forget to give it a good mix to get things combined!
Step three: fruit galore
On to the fun part – It’s time to garnish your cocktail! Slice up all of your fruits and fill and dress your glasses with all sorts of goodies.
We opted to make a cucumber stirrer, and top things off with assorted citrus and strawberry! How pretty! Now, take a picture, use the hashtag #PaintNiteBuzz and enjoy! Need another citrus-based cocktail to make it a party? Give our Citrus Spring Fizz a try.
Cheers – happy sipping!
