Bright Bloom Bright Sky is the kind of painting that rewards you for committing to it — those layered reds and pinks and that open sweep of blue sky come together in a way that feels bigger and more alive than you'd expect when you first pick up a brush. I've been running these nights since 2015 and I still get a kick out of watching that moment when someone steps back and realizes what they actually made. You don't need any experience coming in — I'll meet you where you are and we'll build it up together, one layer at a time. Bored Brewing Taproom and Clubhouse makes for a great room for it, and Saturday nights here tend to find their own rhythm. That bloom is going to look good on your wall.

I'm a mainly self-taught artist, born and raised in Calgary. I've been hosting PaintNite events since 2015 and am always excited to paint. It never gets old; seeing you wonderful people take these very basic elements of colour and create a unique expression of art. Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Calgary, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Bright Bloom Bright Sky includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Mike. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Bored Brewing Taproom and Clubhouse — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Bored Brewing Taproom and Clubhouse's doors open at 6:00 PM, the event starts at 7:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 6:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Mike starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
