Pink and gray and green, all tangled up in soft petals — Hey, Hey, Hydrangeas is the kind of painting that looks like it took real skill, but I'll meet you where you are and we'll work through it together, brush stroke by brush stroke. I've run over 620 of these nights, and I still get a little excited when a room full of people who walked in nervous walks out holding something they're genuinely proud of. We're on the covered, heated patio at Wings Burnaby, so the setting is easy and relaxed — good drinks, good company, and a canvas that by the end of the night will actually look like a painting you'd want to hang up.
Please note! Paint Nite/Yaymaker events are held on the patio that is covered and heated. Wings on Kingsway has been the destination of choice for the surrounding area of Burnaby South and Highgate communities as a Sports Bar environment. Through great game night promotions for all the local sports teams and fight nights involving boxing and UFC, as well as, a mix of holiday themed events such as our Halloween Dance Party and New Years Eve Party...you'll find there is more to Wings, than just our Wings! Please note that if you are planning to have food, come earlier or stay later at the restaurant as there might not be enough room at the table for your dinner during the event. However, there is ALWAYS enough room for your drink!

Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.

Galina is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Wings Burnaby, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.

Your ticket to Hey, Hey, Hydrangeas includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Galina. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Wings Burnaby — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Wings Burnaby's event starts at 7:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 6:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Galina starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 8 hours before this one starts. Rescheduling more than 48 hours in advance is free; within 48 hours of the start time there's a $20 fee per ticket. You can't reschedule within 8 hours of the start time, but if an emergency comes up, reach out to our customer service team and we'll do our best to help. Event tickets are not refundable, but your reschedule codes never expire, so you can redeem them whenever it suits you. If Paint Nite cancels this event, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
