Stars and bare trees against a cold winter sky — that's what we're painting together this Saturday, and I love how much is quietly happening in this one. The colours sound simple until you see them together: black and deep blue holding the dark, then bursts of red, yellow, and purple lighting it up like something just went off overhead. It has real mood to it. I've been doing this for a long time and run a lot of sessions, so wherever you're starting from, I'll meet you where you are — no stress, just paint. D Lounge Kitchen and Bar gives us a good room to settle into, drinks in hand, and just make something we're actually proud of.

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. sHOOT it's Cold is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Galina breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Galina is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at D Lounge Kitchen and Bar, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Galina is a real local artist based in Surrey — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. 8 out of 16 guests who've painted with Galina say the instruction was amazing. Gina C. said: 'Super fun and hands on class! Teacher was great and made it easy'
D Lounge Kitchen and Bar is a local venue in Surrey — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.

sHOOT it's Cold is a winter painting — cozy seasonal vibes for a great night out.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Surrey, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to sHOOT it's Cold includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Galina. Drinks and food are ordered separately from D Lounge Kitchen and Bar — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
D Lounge Kitchen and Bar's doors open at 11:00 AM, the event starts at 3:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 2:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Galina starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 8 hours before this one starts. Rescheduling more than 48 hours in advance is free; within 48 hours of the start time there's a $20 fee per ticket. You can't reschedule within 8 hours of the start time, but if an emergency comes up, reach out to our customer service team and we'll do our best to help. Event tickets are not refundable, but your reschedule codes never expire, so you can redeem them whenever it suits you. If Paint Nite cancels this event, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
