As you unleash your inner artist, you can also enjoy a variety of cocktails and delicious small plates from Ventura Room’s curated menu of signature drinks and time worn classics. It's the perfect blend of creativity and relaxation, making it an unforgettable evening out.
Seating is first-come, first-served, so we recommend arriving on time to secure the best spots for your group. The painting demonstration will kick off precisely 10 minutes after the posted start time, so please ensure your timely arrival.

Hi there! My name is Sierra. I am a Vancouver based artist that has a passion for teaching and art. Combining those two things together to teach you at Paintnite is a dream. So come enjoy some food and drinks while getting creative with some great people. I look forward to teaching you!

Yes. Sunset by the rocks is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Sierra breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Sierra is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Ventura Room , a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.

Your ticket to Sunset by the rocks includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Sierra. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Ventura Room — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Ventura Room 's doors open at 4:00 PM, the event starts at 4:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 3:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Sierra starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
