Join us for a Sunday Family Funday! Gomoku in Oshawa is one of those spots where the staff clearly love what they do — signature cocktails, thoughtful details, a room that already feels like something good is happening in it — and that backdrop makes an evening like this land differently. I'm Janna, and I've been doing this long enough (833 events and counting) that I can tell you with confidence: a paint pour on a geometric canvas with gold leaf is one of the most satisfying things to make, even if you've never been near paint before. We'll build it up together, layer by layer, and the gold leaf at the end always gets people. You leave with something you actually want to hang.
At Gomoku, we take the stress out of event planning with our comprehensive range of services. From crafting signature cocktails to planning the perfect menu and coordinating every detail of your decor to make the event venue of your dreams, our team of experts is here to ensure that your event is flawless from start to finish. Excited to be hosting Paint Nite, Canada's favourite paint and sip experience, we hope to see you soon for the best night out in Oshawa, Whitby and Durham region!

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Paint Pour on Geometric Canvas with Gold Leaf is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Janna breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Crafts events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
Yes — Paint Pour on Geometric Canvas with Gold Leaf is a Crafts favourite for girls nights in Oshawa. Everyone paints their own canvas, so there's always something to laugh about at the end. If you're planning a bachelorette party or a larger group, private events of 10+ get reserved seating and a custom experience.
Janna is a real local artist based in Oshawa — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. 10 out of 11 guests who've painted with Janna say the instruction was amazing. Nithya A. said: 'This is such a great social and artistic experience. Janna is amazing and I learned a lot while meeting some fun people.'
Gomoku Restaurant is a local venue in Oshawa — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Crafts events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.
Yes — we have 29 upcoming events in Oshawa this month. You can view them here.
Your ticket to Paint Pour on Geometric Canvas with Gold Leaf includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Janna. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Gomoku Restaurant — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Gomoku Restaurant's event starts at 5:30 PM. We suggest showing up by 5:00 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Janna starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Crafts event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Crafts cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
