Painting in those northern lights colors is something I never get tired of watching come together — the way the black sky fills in first, then the green and blue start to glow across it, and suddenly the whole canvas feels alive. That's what we're doing Wednesday night at Wild Wing in Scarborough, and I can't wait to do it with a room full of people. You don't need to have held a paintbrush before — I'll meet you where you are and we'll build the whole thing up layer by layer, from the dark sky down to the snow and the trees. Wild Wing is a great spot for a night like this: food, drinks, good energy. By the end, you'll have aurora lights flickering above a snowy treeline, and it'll actually look the way you hoped it would.
On March 17th 1999, Wild Wing took flight with a humble grassroots beginning in Sunderland, Ontario. Since then Wild Wing has become one of the fastest growing family-friendly sports restaurant franchises. Our growth has been attributed to providing high quality food, strong customer service and a unique atmosphere. Wild Wing Scarbourgh is located at Woodside Square, s famous for its mouth-watering Canadian raised chicken wings that are served with 101 incredible flavour options. Whether you come with family or friends, your visit at Wild Wing is sure to be memorable! Come paint and sip with us with Paint Nite, @theoriginalpaintnite Scarborough and the GTA's most popular creative night out since 2012!

Janna has been happily hosting Paint Nite since 2018. As a Master Artist, she has garnered a dedicated following with her passion, technique, and delightful sense of humour. She is constantly experimenting with new mediums and her clothes and hands always tell a colourful, messy story. When Janna puts down her paintbrush she can be found baking custom cakes and treats that further showcase her creative talent, and taste delicious too! Come have a drink with her and paint your own masterpiece!
Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Snowy Northern Lights II is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Janna breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Janna is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Wild Wing Woodside Square, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Janna is a real local artist based in SCARBOROUGH — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. 10 out of 11 guests who've painted with Janna say the instruction was amazing. Nithya A. said: 'This is such a great social and artistic experience. Janna is amazing and I learned a lot while meeting some fun people.'
Wild Wing Woodside Square is a local venue in SCARBOROUGH — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.
Yes — we have 17 upcoming events in SCARBOROUGH this month. You can view them here.
Snowy Northern Lights II is a winter painting — cozy seasonal vibes for a great night out.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in SCARBOROUGH, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Snowy Northern Lights II includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Janna. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Wild Wing Woodside Square — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Wild Wing Woodside Square's event starts at 7:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 6:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Janna starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
