Sunday afternoon at a brewery, painting a Highland cow that looks like it just stepped out of a daydream — I can already tell this one's going to be a good time. I'll walk everyone through the piece at a comfortable pace, so even if you've never held a paintbrush since elementary school, we'll get there together. The cow itself is the whole thing: big, fluffy, surrounded by flowers, done in these warm pinks and oranges with cool blue pushed through the background. It ends up looking way more beautiful than you'd expect a cow to look. Brunswick Bierworks has this easy industrial warmth to it, great beer on tap, and enough room to spread out and actually enjoy yourself. That painting is going to be something you want to hang.

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Barnyard Highland Cow is one of our more detailed paintings, which is exactly what makes it so satisfying to finish. Rachel paces it carefully so nobody gets left behind — and Rachel will help you turn any mistake into something intentional. Worth knowing: Crafts events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
Yes — Barnyard Highland Cow is a Crafts favourite for girls nights in Toronto . Everyone paints their own canvas, so there's always something to laugh about at the end. If you're planning a bachelorette party or a larger group, private events of 10+ get reserved seating and a custom experience.
Rachel is a real local artist based in Toronto — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. 8 out of 10 guests who've painted with Rachel say the instruction was amazing. Twitchell M. said: 'I had such a great experience at Paint Nite! Rachel made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming from the start. The step-by-step guidance was super clear, and even as someone who doesn’t paint...'
Brunswick Bierworks is a local venue in Toronto — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Crafts events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.
Yes — we have 197 upcoming events in Toronto this month. You can view them here.
Your ticket to Barnyard Highland Cow includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Rachel. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Brunswick Bierworks — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Brunswick Bierworks's doors open at 1:00 PM, the event starts at 2:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 1:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Rachel starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Crafts event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Crafts cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
