Question 1

Is Create your own welcome mat! Copy good for beginners?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Create your own welcome mat! Copy is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Janna breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Crafts events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.

Question 2

What's Janna like as an instructor?

Accepted Answer

Janna is a real local artist based in Toronto — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. 10 out of 11 guests who've painted with Janna say the instruction was amazing. Nithya A. said: 'This is such a great social and artistic experience. Janna is amazing and I learned a lot while meeting some fun people.'

Question 3

What's Kingston House like?

Accepted Answer

Kingston House is a local venue in Toronto — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Crafts events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.

Question 4

Are there more Crafts events in Toronto?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we have 132 upcoming events in Toronto this month.

Question 5

What's included in my ticket for this event?

Accepted Answer

Your ticket to Create your own welcome mat! Copy includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Janna. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Kingston House — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.

Question 6

How long is Create your own welcome mat! Copy?

Accepted Answer

Kingston House's doors open at 11:00 AM, the event starts at 2:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 1:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Janna starts the painting.

Question 7

What's the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

You can reschedule your ticket to any other Crafts event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Crafts cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.

Oh no! This event has just recently been cancelled.
