Born and raised in Maple Ridge, Danica is a local visual artist, window painter and muralist. Her works often include images of animals and landscapes, and they are frequently recognized for the bright and bold colour combinations. Besides being a working artist, Danica is also an experienced art instructor. With 10 years of teaching experience, Danica runs classes through her own company, Artica Creative, and she also works with several other organizations across the lower mainland.

Yes. Halloween Dog Nap is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Danica breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Plant Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.

Your ticket to Halloween Dog Nap includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Danica. Drinks and food are ordered separately from The One Sixty Wine Bar & Cafe — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
The One Sixty Wine Bar & Cafe's doors open at 11:30 AM, the event starts at 6:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 5:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Danica starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Plant Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Plant Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
