Learn to paint like a Fauvist!
In honour of Earth Day, let's paint this beautiful woodland scene by Matisse- painted in sunny Collioure, a Mediterranean gem that lured artists in the early 1900s, this vibrant piece marks the start of Matisse's Fauve period. Inspired by Paul Signac and Henri-Edmond Cross, Matisse embraced bold, unnatural colours to capture the region's dazzling charm.
For this session Aisling will walk you through the painting step-by-step. All materials and supplies are provided - including an apron. Feel free to shoot us an email with questions: info@ourstudioseries.com
