The Castleton Sports Club (Inc.) has been in existence for more than 40 years. All activities, and facilities, including the ice rink, soccer fields and baseball diamonds located directly behind Northumberland Hills Public School, are owned, operated, organized and maintained by community volunteers and are funded by sport activity fees, fundraising efforts and donations. The Castleton Sports Club employs local students to operate their canteen which is open during summer events and will rent their facilities at a nominal rate. All neighbouring community members are welcome and encouraged to be part of the club which offers a variety of other activities through out the year at various venues.
