Get DirectionsJeremy Ross is one of Paint Nite Minneapolis's most experienced artist with over 600 events held (Plant Nite, too) and a rocking guest comment score! Jeremy grew up in Southern California moving to Minnesota while in High School. He continued with his Bachelor's in Business Management and has almost completed his Master's in Human Resource Management. In addition, Jeremy spent 12 years in upper retail management which included time in Mall of America. As a recent newly wed, Jeremy's most current work has been personal inspiration from the Twin Cities. He also has three nephews and loves being active otudoors in the summer with bike rides and hiking along with camping, fairs and bon fires. He works in digital art and customization outside of painting. WARNING! You're going to laugh a lot while making something beautiful to take home. Jeremy is as sassy as they come and he always says it like it is which includes swear words. REMEMBER, this is an adult event and you must be 21+ to attend***. Leave your censor at home and bring your fun and creativty and he'll take it from there. Yes. End of summer is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Vivian breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Vivian is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at AC Hotel Minneapolis Downtown, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.

Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. Your ticket to End of summer includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Vivian. Drinks and food are ordered separately from AC Hotel Minneapolis Downtown — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
AC Hotel Minneapolis Downtown's event starts at 6:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 5:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Vivian starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 8 hours before this one starts. Rescheduling more than 48 hours in advance is free; within 48 hours of the start time there's a $20 fee per ticket. You can't reschedule within 8 hours of the start time, but if an emergency comes up, reach out to our customer service team and we'll do our best to help. Event tickets are not refundable, but your reschedule codes never expire, so you can redeem them whenever it suits you. If Paint Nite cancels this event, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
