Well I’m a native New Yorker that grew up on Long Island. I was fortunate to have had had the opportunity to be introduced to many cultural wonders as a child. I studied music in college then moved onto business. My first recognition of art was in second grade while I won first prize in the fire prevention week poster competition. My prize was five dollars and on the way home my dad and I happen to come across a fire that was being put out in the woods. Coincidence? From that point on I started to paint, draw, became totally right brained and used the rest of my talents in music.

Meet John

I love to do lots crafts, DIY home stuff, and have a entirely creative side to me that drives me on how I approach things in my life.

I’m usually one who loves an idea and then expands on it. In other words, I don’t always go by the rules but still completes the task. I’ve been to a number of the paint nights over the past three years, probably close to 20 and each time I’ve learned and have become more skilled where my friends seeing my final results have told me that I should share my talents with others. A recent creative experience was I did not have a canvas for an event and I was not going to put my work of art on a piece of cardboard, so my canvas became an 11x15 wall in my enclosed toilet area in my master bath. I barely could keep up! Exhausted and sweaty, and challenged, the final result was tremendous! I know this because when people come to my home, they specifically want to use my bathroom and not the one that is out in the guest area. LOL. One person said it gives a whole new meaning to being in paradise.
