A Haunting Halloween

Artwork byStefanie Harrington

A cartoonish skeleton dressed in dark tattered clothing stands centered in a spooky graveyard, holding a glowing orange jack-o-lantern. The background features bare, gnarled black trees silhouetted against a misty blue-gray sky with a large full moon. Multiple gray tombstones surround the figure, and colorful autumn leaves are scattered across the dark green ground. The color palette contrasts the vibrant orange pumpkin against deep blues and blacks. The painting has moderate-to-high complexity due to the layered background elements, skeleton figure details, and leaf textures.
