Hanging Succulents

Artwork byHolly MacKinnon

Four hanging planters in macramé-style holders are arranged in a horizontal row against a soft white background. Each planter holds a different succulent or cactus — a rosette succulent, a trailing fern-like plant, a tall columnar cactus with white dots, and a spiky aloe — displayed in alternating pastel pink and turquoise pots with golden rope accents. The palette is cheerful and fresh: mint green, bubblegum pink, aqua blue, and warm tan against near-white. The mood is bright, whimsical, and modern-boho. The acrylic style is illustrative with smooth color blocking and subtle shading, making it a beginner-friendly composition with moderate detail.
