We will Always Remember

Artwork byMelody Gillespie

A dark silhouette of a uniformed soldier in a military cap rendered in salute pose fills the foreground, set against a boldly painted American flag background of red, white, and blue stripes with white stars. The composition is centered and close-cropped, emphasizing the patriotic gravity of the gesture. The palette contrasts deep black and gray tones of the figure against vivid, gestural brushstrokes of red and white stripes. The mood is solemn and reverential, evoking themes of military service and national pride. Acrylic style with visible, expressive brushwork; moderate complexity suitable for intermediate painters.
