Saturday nights at a sports bar hit different when half the room is holding a paintbrush. I'm Rebecca, and I'll be leading you through a painting called Cold and Happy — a moody, cloud-filled sky in deep blacks and blues with just enough red to make it feel alive. It's the kind of piece that looks way harder than it is, and we'll build it up together, one layer at a time, so it actually ends up feeling like yours by the end of the night. Native Grill & Wings brings the wings and the good energy; I bring the paint and the plan. Come as you are.
Native Grill & Wings is a beloved wings franchise in the Southwest, especially in the Phoenix area where it started in the late 1970s. Native was the first to bring Buffalo-style wings to the Southwest and have won over generations of customers with great food and a family-friendly sports bar ambiance.

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes — Cold and Happy is one of our most approachable paintings. Absolute first-timers finish this one looking great. Rebecca walks you through every step, and the whole group moves together so nobody falls behind. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Rebecca is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Native Grill & Wings - Mesa, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Yes — Cold and Happy is one of our family-friendly paintings. All ages are welcome at this event. We recommend ages 5 and up for independent painting, though younger kids can share a canvas with an adult.
Rebecca is a real local artist based in Mesa — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. In Mesa, 19 out of 20 Paint Nite guests rated their instructor as amazing.
Native Grill & Wings - Mesa is a local venue in Mesa — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.

Cold and Happy is a winter painting — cozy seasonal vibes for a great night out.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Mesa, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Cold and Happy includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Rebecca. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Native Grill & Wings - Mesa — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Native Grill & Wings - Mesa's doors open at 10:30 AM, the event starts at 7:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 6:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Rebecca starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
