A bright little bird, bold autumn colors, and a relaxed evening of painting. Join Creative Escapes at 300 Club Lounge inside Yosemite Lanes in Modesto to create your own version of "Pretty Bird." This beginner-friendly Paint Nite is designed for everyone, whether it's your first time painting or you've been filling sketchbooks for years.
I'll guide the painting step by step, but you're always welcome to change the colors, simplify the design, or add your own details. Every finished piece ends up with its own personality.
Looking for a paint and sip in Modesto, a casual date night, or something different to do with friends or family? This is a great excuse to unplug for a couple of hours and make something you can actually take home. Kids are welcome, and all painting supplies are included.
Planning a birthday, fundraiser, office gathering, or other private event? Private Paint Nites are available for groups of 10 or more. Bring three friends and receive 15% off your tickets, and if your plans change, cancellations are available up to 24 hours before the event.

Yes. Pretty Bird is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Ilya breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Ilya is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at 300 Club Lounge (Yosemite Lanes), a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Ilya is a real local artist based in MODESTO — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. Paint Nite artists complete our certification program before their first event. Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in MODESTO, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Pretty Bird includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Ilya. Drinks and food are ordered separately from 300 Club Lounge (Yosemite Lanes) — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
300 Club Lounge (Yosemite Lanes)'s doors open at 2:00 PM, the event starts at 2:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 1:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Ilya starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
