Kulturas Latín Kitchen & Cantina already sounds like a good Thursday night on its own, and then you add painting to the mix. I'm Arlene, and I've been running these events for a while now — 343 of them — so I know how to read a room and keep things moving at a pace that works for everyone. No art background? I'll meet you where you are. The painting we're doing is called Beauty - Fall, and it's a flower piece with real warmth to it — bold reds and oranges pushing against black, bursts of yellow and green, white that makes the whole thing pop. It's the kind of painting that looks impressive on a wall but doesn't require anything from you except showing up and giving it a go.

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Forest Moonlight is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Arlene breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Arlene is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Kulturas Latín Kitchen & Cantina, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Yes — Forest Moonlight is a Paint Nite favourite for girls nights in Pasadena. Everyone paints their own canvas, so there's always something to laugh about at the end. If you're planning a bachelorette party or a larger group, private events of 10+ get reserved seating and a custom experience.
Arlene is a real local artist based in Pasadena — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. 11 out of 25 guests who've painted with Arlene say the instruction was amazing. Julianna B. said: 'Awesome event! The teacher is so incredible and the event was fun, educational, entertaining and inspiring!! Highly recommended!!!'
Kulturas Latín Kitchen & Cantina is a local venue in Pasadena — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.
Yes — we have 10 upcoming events in Pasadena this month. You can view them here.
Forest Moonlight is a spring painting — a fresh seasonal pick that captures the energy of the season.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Pasadena, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Forest Moonlight includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Arlene. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Kulturas Latín Kitchen & Cantina — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Kulturas Latín Kitchen & Cantina's doors open at 11:00 AM, the event starts at 7:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 6:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Arlene starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
