Spending a Sunday afternoon surrounded by craft beer and a room full of people learning to paint tiny penguins together — that's a pretty good way to spend a few hours. I'm Angela, and I'll be your host while we work through this little trio of penguin chicks, step by step, at Moksa Brewing Company in Rocklin. Moksa takes their beer seriously — 24 varieties on offer — so you'll have plenty to sip while we paint. I've got you on the art side, no matter where you're starting from. The brewing taproom sets a tone that's relaxed and social, the kind of place where it's easy to laugh at your first attempt and keep going. We'll finish with something you actually made, three little penguins you'll want to hang up.
Moksa Brewing Co. isn't the first brewery in Rocklin, CA – with our vision, passion, and dedication though, we hope to make it the best. Continually developing 24 varieties of beer, we showcase years of expertise and perfectionism in our 3,000 square foot taproom. Can accomodate 120 people. Food trucks are available. The Moksa Brewing Company officially opened for business on Saturday, February 3, to the excitement of Rocklin residents and the surrounding

Time will fly while we have fun and make art. I have a Bachelors in art studio. I've painted head portraits for events in 45 minutes.
Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Penguin chicks trio is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Angela breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Angela is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Moksa Brewing Company, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Yes — Penguin chicks trio is one of our family-friendly paintings. All ages are welcome at this event. We recommend ages 5 and up for independent painting, though younger kids can share a canvas with an adult.
Angela is a real local artist based in Rocklin — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. In Rocklin, 13 out of 17 Paint Nite guests rated their instructor as amazing.
Moksa Brewing Company is a local venue in Rocklin — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.

Penguin chicks trio is a winter painting — cozy seasonal vibes for a great night out.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Rocklin, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Penguin chicks trio includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Angela. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Moksa Brewing Company — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Moksa Brewing Company's doors open at 12:00 PM, the event starts at 2:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 1:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Angela starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 8 hours before this one starts. Rescheduling more than 48 hours in advance is free; within 48 hours of the start time there's a $20 fee per ticket. You can't reschedule within 8 hours of the start time, but if an emergency comes up, reach out to our customer service team and we'll do our best to help. Event tickets are not refundable, but your reschedule codes never expire, so you can redeem them whenever it suits you. If Paint Nite cancels this event, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
