When life speeds up one of the best things you can do is slow down and make a beautiful painting. This succulent still life is a great starting point for beginners, and works really well for intermediate painters that want to work a little bit on rendering.
This is a self-supply event, so you will need to purchase the materials in advance from DickBlick.com (my favorite), Amazon, or any craft store. Or you can substitute for materials you have in your home.
Acrylic paint (white, black, red, yellow, blue, and green) https://www.dickblick.com/items/blick-studio-acrylics-set-of-6-colors-120-ml-tubes/
*If you are using craft paint, grab the colors you see in the example painting.
Brushes (1” flat, a small brush for details, a ½” flat brush, and a medium round brush) https://www.dickblick.com/items/princeton-real-value-brush-set-9155-white-taklon-long-handle-set-of-5/
A canvas (12” x 16” work great or if you want to make something larger 16” x 20” is what I use for in-person events)
