Paint and Purrs Fundraiser Event is back! Show support for your local cats and paint your own cat painting. Enjoy the presence of 25+ friendly cats and kittens while you paint and have fun!
Since Feline Good opened it's doors on August 10th, 2019, many cats have been rescued, loved and found their ways into their fur-ever homes! Taking care of 25+ cats & kittens is something we love to do but it can be a costly cause. To provide a safe, loving home, we are consistently fundraising to offset costs for operations, cat food, supplies and care...Join Us at one of our Paint and Purrs events to help us continue to do this and continue doing it well!
COVID-19: Masks Must be worn at all times during this event.

Hi, I’m Wendy Anderson! With 10+ years of experience and thousands of 5-star reviews, I’m one of the top paint party hosts in the country. My mission? Turning creative anxiety into pure, mindful fun. Through my signature beginner method, anyone can paint—no talent required! I host public OC paint nights, On Demand recorded events, private parties, corporate events, and I teach step-by-step paint alongs on YouTube.
Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Me and My Cat Over the Rainbow is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Wendy breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Wendy is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Feline Good Social Club, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Yes — Me and My Cat Over the Rainbow is a Paint Nite favourite for girls nights in Long Beach. Everyone paints their own canvas, so there's always something to laugh about at the end. If you're planning a bachelorette party or a larger group, private events of 10+ get reserved seating and a custom experience.
Wendy is a real local artist based in Long Beach — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. 5 out of 6 guests who've painted with Wendy say the instruction was amazing. Nancy L. said: 'Wendy was WONDERFUL! Easy to follow and very encouraging.'
Feline Good Social Club is a local venue in Long Beach — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Long Beach, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Me and My Cat Over the Rainbow includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Wendy. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Feline Good Social Club — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Feline Good Social Club's event starts at 4:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 3:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Wendy starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
This event has reached our minimum attendance threshold and is guaranteed to run. If we ever have to cancel a guaranteed event, every ticket holder receives a full automatic refund plus a free ticket to a future Paint Nite — no questions asked. The only exception is weather or force majeure, where full refunds are issued but free tickets are not.
