Rachel is a zany, self-taught creative who loves to explore and experiment with art showing no signs of slowing down. From flash fiction writing, to painting restaurant murals, to candlemaking she has found no project too great or too small. Rachel has helped develop many of the experiences now brought to you by Yaymaker as part of the New Experiences (Labs) Team, and loves hosting ALL THE THINGS. She is also a serial music playlister and excels at eating large bags of chips in one sitting. She laughs loudly, will cheers any occasion, and deep down Rachel still believes that one day she will develop real super powers. Get ready to have a blast and expect nothing but the best throwback jams and the worst dad jokes with this Yaymaker host!

Yes. Candle Making Fall Scents - Set of 3 is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Davina breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Candle Maker events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
Davina is a real local artist based in Somerville — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. Paint Nite artists complete our certification program before their first event. Across all Paint Nite events, 93% of guests say their instructor was amazing.
NU Kitchen - Somerville is a local venue in Somerville — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Candle Maker events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.
Your ticket to Candle Making Fall Scents - Set of 3 includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Davina. Drinks and food are ordered separately from NU Kitchen - Somerville — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
NU Kitchen - Somerville's event starts at 6:30 PM. We suggest showing up by 6:00 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Davina starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Candle Maker event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Candle Maker cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
