Tuesday nights don't usually look like this — a room full of people laughing, sipping craft beers, and painting a cheeky little gnome all bundled up in holiday ribbons. E.V.O. Kitchen is already a great spot to settle into, with that locally-owned warmth you can feel the second you walk in, and pairing it with a painting this fun just makes the whole night click. The Tied Up Christmas Gnome is bold and cheerful — all that red, blue, and green — and I'll meet you where you are, whether you've painted before or you're genuinely starting from zero. We build it together.
Experience local foods at it's best. Welcome to the official home of E.V.O. kitchen and bar! Founded in 2010, E.V.O. kitchen is a locally owned and operated restaurant offering dine in, take out and specialty catering services. Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Tied up Christmas Gnome is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Vaishali breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Vaishali is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at E.V.O. Kitchen, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Vaishali is a real local artist based in Cambridge — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. 12 out of 18 guests who've painted with Vaishali say the instruction was amazing. Jackie B. said: 'It was great fun, and the artist was very helpful and supportive!!'
E.V.O. Kitchen is a local venue in Cambridge — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class. 44% of guests who've attended events at E.V.O. Kitchen rated the atmosphere highly.
Yes — we have 14 upcoming events in Cambridge this month. You can view them here.
Tied up Christmas Gnome is a winter painting — cozy seasonal vibes for a great night out.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Cambridge , you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Tied up Christmas Gnome includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Vaishali. Drinks and food are ordered separately from E.V.O. Kitchen — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
E.V.O. Kitchen's doors open at 11:00 AM, the event starts at 6:30 PM. We suggest showing up by 6:00 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Vaishali starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
