The painting we're doing together is a quiet one — a heart caught somewhere between moonlight and winter branches, built in deep blacks and blues with just enough white and yellow to make it glow. It sounds simple, but when you see it come together in your hands, it gets you. I've been running these nights since 2014 and I still love watching that moment happen for people. Cascade Grill is a great room for it — good food, cold drinks, easy company — and I keep things moving so nobody's ever sitting there lost. You don't need to have picked up a brush before; I'll meet you where you are and we'll build it up together. By the end of the night you'll have something that actually looks like the painting, and that always surprises people more than they expect.

We run high energy events. We have a ton of fun, and will consume an adult beverage or two. We started doing paint nite events in 2014, it's been one heck of a ride. Thom is on the cutting edge with some of the new virtual events with Craft Cocktails and Interacttive game nights. We like to have fun, but we are dedicated to making sure every guest is included and has the best possible experience. Yes. Lost Christmas Love is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Thom breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.

Thom is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Cascade Grill At Jubitz, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in PORTLAND, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Lost Christmas Love includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Thom. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Cascade Grill At Jubitz — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Cascade Grill At Jubitz's doors open at 6:00 AM, the event starts at 6:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 5:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Thom starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
