No experience required! Just follow along while our Social Painting Instructor guides you step-by-step through the featured painting in about two hours. If you’re feeling creative, change the colors to suit your décor or go completely rogue. We provide all the painting supplies: a 16”x20” canvas, acrylic paint, brushes, smock, music, and a good time.
Come out early to enjoy dinner before we get started, just let them know you’re with Paint Nite. Secure your seats at least 15 minutes before start time, especially if part of a large group. Food and drinks are available for purchase from the venue and NOT included in the ticket price. Outside food and drink are not allowed - NO BYOB. Events are for ages 21 and over.

Lisa grew up on a small farm in south central Pennsylvania and spent much of her time outside in Nature. From an early age, she had a passion for drawing and painting her surroundings. High school art classes gave her a solid foundation for her skills, which she continued to improve upon throughout her life. After a lenghty career in the insurance industry, Lisa retired from the corporate world and resumed painting while raising a family. Lisa has a background in acrylic painting, ceramics, face painting and now frequently uses rocks and stones as her canvas. Nature and myth serve as a huge inspiration to Lisa, which she incorporates into much of her work, dubbing herself The Faeryrockpainter.

Yes. Spring Goldfinch is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Lisa breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Lisa is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at The Pour House on Derry, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.

Your ticket to Spring Goldfinch includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Lisa. Drinks and food are ordered separately from The Pour House on Derry — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
The Pour House on Derry's event starts at 7:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 6:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Lisa starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
