Virtual Venue

A little bit about me, Colleen, that's me, I am Classy, Sassy and a little bit Smart Assy. I am a self taught artist who is passionate about my art. My journey in the art world started when I was a child. I began painting the rocks from my backyard and bottle caps from the local gas station vending machines. OOOH, did I just date myself? I have been painting decorative art for over 30 years, I'll paint anything and everything that will sit still and even some who can't. 16 years ago I decided to share my passion with anyone who would put a paintbrush in their hand and give it a try. Teaching painting is such fun and so rewarding. I am a Master Instuctor for One Stroke painting, I am also certified Instructor for Grumbacher Arts. Yaymaker is a great match me, I truly believe that everyone is an artist, Yaymaker brings out the creativitiy in all of us, and who knew that while having fun and Drinking Creatively, you can create a masterpiece of your own. Thanks for dropping in and getting to know me.
Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Elephant Elegance is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Colleen breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Colleen is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Virtual Venue-Your Device, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Colleen is a real local artist based in Virtual — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. In Virtual, 5 out of 15 Paint Nite guests rated their instructor as amazing. Teri C. said: 'Colleen was an excellent instructor and very patient with all of us! Jan's lounge was a fun afternoon venue, too.'
Virtual Venue-Your Device is a local venue in Virtual — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.
Yes — we have 40 upcoming events in Virtual this month. You can view them here.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Virtual, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Elephant Elegance includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Colleen. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Virtual Venue-Your Device — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Virtual Venue-Your Device's event starts at 3:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 2:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Colleen starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
