About Happy Little Cone Flowers

Come join us at the most spectacular view in the heart of Northern Virginia Wine Country!  Enjoy our wines while painting on a 16" x 20" canvas.  Your master artist, Carol Erickson, will take you from a blank canvas, with step by step instructions, to a beautiful masterpiece.  All supplies are included and no experience is necessary.  Join in a fun evening with your friends and family and let your imagination soar! #paintnite, #girlsnightout, #paintandsip, #paint&sip, #paintnight, #bluemontvineyards

“The mountain calls to elevate our spirits” For years we gazed up at the mountain from the fields of Great Country Farms and envisioned planting grapes on the sunny slopes. As simple "dirt farmers," our goal is to provide a relaxed atmosphere and approachable tasting experience for our guests to embrace the fruits of our farm labors. We hope this mountain will call to you as often as it does to us to come to elevate your spirits with good wine and good company. — The Zurschmeide Family

Carol has a BS degree in Fine Arts. While experienced with jewelry, ceramics, weaving, painting and photography, Carol’s love has come to focus on Stained Glass and Fused Glass. She currently owns and operates Starfish Paint & Create where she designs and fabricates stained glass works of art. However, working in a studio is lonely and she would like to share her love of art with others. PaintNite is a perfect match!

FAQ

Paint Nite — Everything You Need to Know

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.

Yes. Happy Little Cone Flowers is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Carol breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.

A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Carol is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Bluemont Vineyard, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.

Yes — Happy Little Cone Flowers is a Paint Nite favourite for girls nights in Bluemont. Everyone paints their own canvas, so there's always something to laugh about at the end. If you're planning a bachelorette party or a larger group, private events of 10+ get reserved seating and a custom experience.

Carol is a real local artist based in Bluemont — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. Paint Nite artists complete our certification program before their first event. Across all Paint Nite events, 93% of guests say their instructor was amazing. Christine M. said: 'Carol was amazing! The venue was also perfect.'

Bluemont Vineyard is a local venue in Bluemont — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.

Happy Little Cone Flowers is a summer painting — bright, warm tones that match the season perfectly.

Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Bluemont, you're in the right place. Welcome back.

Your ticket to Happy Little Cone Flowers includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Carol. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Bluemont Vineyard — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.

Bluemont Vineyard's event starts at 6:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 5:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Carol starts the painting.

You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.

This event has reached our minimum attendance threshold and is guaranteed to run. If we ever have to cancel a guaranteed event, every ticket holder receives a full automatic refund plus a free ticket to a future Paint Nite — no questions asked. The only exception is weather or force majeure, where full refunds are issued but free tickets are not.
