Discover how to turn simple-looking paper strips into beautiful art by paper quilling. Paper quilling involves paper strips that are rolled, looped, curled, and manipulated in other ways to produce and combine shapes to create designs.
In this workshop, your host Trupti More will introduce you to tools and most of the basic techniques of quilling. With these basic techniques, we will make two beautiful magnets and these techniques and supplies can be used to create up to 10 more magnets or other designs of your choice by yourself after the workshop. You could create bookmarks, greeting cards, photo frames, and much more.
Quilling is not just an art, it also helps with relaxation and hand-eye coordination. Quilling works well for kids and adults.
No prior experience is required to make these ornaments.
SUPPLIES: I will highly recommend that you should buy supplies from me so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Once you are done with the registration buy supplies here: Paper Quilling Kit for Magnets | Trupti's Craft (truptiscraft.com) This kit will include a slotted tool, circle sizer, 100 paper strips, fine tip glue bottle (with glue), tweezer, cork board, pearl pins, 2 magnet base etc.
Apart from these supplies, you will need scissors.

Your ticket to Paper Quilling Peacock Magnet includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Trupti. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Virtual Venue — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Virtual Venue's event starts at 2:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 1:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Trupti starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paper Crafts event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paper Crafts cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
