Domanico Cellars Website Domanico Cellars is a small family owned and operated winery. We began our adventure in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle (originally in our little bungalow!). A couple of years later, and with a little growth, we moved operations to a warehouse in Ballard, where we continue to operate a winery and tasting room. With a strong desire to take our passion for wine making and Washington State’s agriculture further, in 2012 we purchased our first, yet established, vineyard in Prosser, WA. We both have strong Eastern Washington roots, growing up in Spokane and living in Yakima for a number of years, so we decided to pick-up and “move to the farm”. We love being back and in the heart of the grape growing region of Washington. We are also excited to open our second winery and tasting room on the vineyard! We are extremely dedicated to making great wines from the best Washington vineyards. Some years we may blend, others we may not, but our promise is to always produce the best wines possible based on what the vineyards, grapes and maturing vintages tell us. Oh, and if you talk to our many wonderful volunteers you will know we require that a smile & laugh or two be involved in all phases of the process! Over the past several years we have sourced fruit from some of the top vineyards in Washington, specifically the Horse Heaven Hills AVA and Yakima Valley AVA. Our first release was in 2008 of our 2006 vintage. In 2012 we purchased Carter Family Farms Vineyard, a well-established vineyard, previously owned and operated by George and Dennis Carter. Our Seattle winery is located between the neighborhoods of Ballard and Fremont: 825 NW 49th Street Seattle, WA 98107 206.465.9406

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Magical Winter Discovery is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Gregory breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Gregory is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Domanico Cellars (Wine, beer and cider available), a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Gregory is a real local artist based in Seattle — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. Paint Nite artists complete our certification program before their first event. Across all Paint Nite events, 93% of guests say their instructor was amazing.
Domanico Cellars (Wine, beer and cider available) is a local venue in Seattle — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.
Magical Winter Discovery is a winter painting — cozy seasonal vibes for a great night out.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Seattle, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Magical Winter Discovery includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Gregory. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Domanico Cellars (Wine, beer and cider available) — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Domanico Cellars (Wine, beer and cider available)'s event starts at 6:30 PM. We suggest showing up by 6:00 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Gregory starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
