A painting full of leaves and trees has a way of pulling you somewhere quieter — and that's exactly where this one goes. "A Stroll Through Serenity" is rich with color: deep blacks and blues anchoring the scene, warm oranges and reds pushing through, the whole thing feeling like a walk you actually want to take. I'll build it up step by step, so even if you've never held a brush before, I've got you. We're at the Best Western Premier at Fisher's Landing, which gives the night a relaxed, put-together feel without being stuffy. Expect a drink in hand, a good room, and a canvas that looks way more impressive than anything you thought you'd make.

We run high energy events. We have a ton of fun, and will consume an adult beverage or two. We started doing paint nite events in 2014, it's been one heck of a ride. Thom is on the cutting edge with some of the new virtual events with Craft Cocktails and Interacttive game nights. We like to have fun, but we are dedicated to making sure every guest is included and has the best possible experience. Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. A Stroll Through Serenity is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Thom breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Thom is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Best Western Premier at Fisher's Landing , a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Thom is a real local artist based in VANCOUVER — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. In VANCOUVER, 21 out of 50 Paint Nite guests rated their instructor as amazing. Betsy C. said: 'So much fun - everyone needs to do it!'
Best Western Premier at Fisher's Landing is a local venue in VANCOUVER — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.
Yes — we have 63 upcoming events in VANCOUVER this month. You can view them here.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in VANCOUVER, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to A Stroll Through Serenity includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Thom. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Best Western Premier at Fisher's Landing — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Best Western Premier at Fisher's Landing 's event starts at 6:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 5:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Thom starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
