Forty-six events in, I still get a little giddy on a Friday night when the room starts to fill up. This one's going to be a good one — we're painting a live still life bouquet, all blooms and loose brushwork, and I'll build it up with you step by step so it doesn't matter where you're starting from. Freeman's Little New York in Fairview is the kind of spot that just makes a night feel right — the name alone tells you something about the attitude in there. Bring whoever you've been meaning to make plans with, grab a drink, and let the evening do its thing.

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Mother's Day Live Still Life Bouquet is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Iyana breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Iyana is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Freeman's Little New York - Fairview, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Yes — Mother's Day Live Still Life Bouquet is a Paint Nite favourite for girls nights in Halifax . Everyone paints their own canvas, so there's always something to laugh about at the end. If you're planning a bachelorette party or a larger group, private events of 10+ get reserved seating and a custom experience.

Freeman's Little New York - Fairview is a local venue in Halifax — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.
