Timka's Love of Art

Host Artist

I am a passionate writer and painter who currently resides in Ottawa. Leaving any troubles behind, come and join for a couple of hours to relax, have fun, and bring back the creative side of you. There is no right or wrong, just happy accidents and some fun tools to help you along. With inspiration from the painting you selected, splash some colors you love on the canvas and enjoy the pleasure of creating something new, your very own masterpiece.

J'Anita

Host Artist

I'm J'Anita, and I host painting events right here in Ottawa where the goal is simple: everyone leaves with a canvas they're proud of and a smile on their face. I love bringing people together around art, whether it's a birthday celebration, a girls' night, a team-building event or a seniors afternoon.

Host Artist

A life-long passion for creativity and especially the visual arts, and the enjoyment of sharing this passion with others, has led me to the perfect outlet as a Paint Nite host. While I started with oil painting in my youth, I have embraced the versatility of acrylic painting. I am currently working to build my acrylic painting hobby into a more serious and fulsome focus, while continuing to develop my personal style. While my artistic inspirations are broad, I'm particularly drawn to impressionist painting styles across a range of subject matter.
