Anchorage Brewing already has a good energy on a Monday night, but I think this painting is what's going to make the room feel a little magical. We're doing a forest scene — deep trees, soft light, fireflies drifting through — the kind of image that looks complex but comes together in a way that surprises people. Colors run from inky black into pink and purple and little flickers of yellow, and by the end it genuinely looks like somewhere you'd want to disappear into. I'll meet you where you are skill-wise, so bring zero experience or bring some — either way works. Grab a beer, find your seat, and let the fireflies take shape.
Anchorage Brewing is a welcoming environment with world class beer. With a draft list ranging from IPA to Imperial Stouts taproom staff will work to find something that fits your desire. A limited wine menu and non-alcoholic options are also available.

Hi friends! I've been in love with art since childhood! Painting is my passion and profession. I teach elementary art during the day and look forward to my paint parties in the evening. As a mom of many I make sure our kid free time is full of fun and laughter!
Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Forest Through the Trees is one of our more detailed paintings, which is exactly what makes it so satisfying to finish. Jessica paces it carefully so nobody gets left behind — and Jessica will help you turn any mistake into something intentional. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Jessica is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Anchorage Brewing Company, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Yes — Forest Through the Trees is a Paint Nite favourite for girls nights in ANCHORAGE. Everyone paints their own canvas, so there's always something to laugh about at the end. If you're planning a bachelorette party or a larger group, private events of 10+ get reserved seating and a custom experience.
Jessica is a real local artist based in ANCHORAGE — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. 7 out of 9 guests who've painted with Jessica say the instruction was amazing. Misty N. said: 'Had a blast! Easy to follow instructions, chill/welcoming environment, amazing instructor!'
Anchorage Brewing Company is a local venue in ANCHORAGE — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class. 45% of guests who've attended events at Anchorage Brewing Company rated the atmosphere highly.
Yes — we have 93 upcoming events in ANCHORAGE this month. You can view them here.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in ANCHORAGE, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Forest Through the Trees includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Jessica. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Anchorage Brewing Company — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Anchorage Brewing Company's doors open at 2:00 PM, the event starts at 6:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 5:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Jessica starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
