Pink blooms, still water, a moon hanging in a soft sky — that's what we're painting together this Sunday afternoon at Society Kitchen in Santa Monica, and I've been genuinely looking forward to this one. I'm Arlene, and after more than 350 of these sessions I still get a little excited when a painting has this kind of quiet beauty to it. The outdoor space at Society Kitchen makes it feel easy — food, drinks, good company, and a canvas in front of you that starts blank and ends up something you actually want to keep. If you've never picked up a brush before, I'll meet you where you are and we'll build it from there together. Valentine's Day is the theme, and Pink Blossoms with Moon fits it without being obvious about it — there's something soft and a little dreamy about the finished piece that earns it.

Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Arlene is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Society Kitchen, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Pink Blossoms with Moon is one of our most popular date night paintings in SANTA MONICA. Your ticket to Pink Blossoms with Moon includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Arlene. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Society Kitchen — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Society Kitchen's event starts at 1:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 12:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Arlene starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
