You're going to be painting your own beer glasses at a brewery, which already sounds like a good Thursday night. Janna Valle has been hosting since 2018 — over 800 sessions of watching people walk in nervous and leave with something they're actually proud of — and that kind of experience means she reads the room, adjusts her pace, and makes the whole thing feel easy. Her hands are always covered in paint, her enthusiasm is real, and her sense of humour keeps things loose when someone's brushstroke goes sideways. You don't need any background in art; Janna will meet you where you are. At the end of the night, you're taking home glasses you actually made.

Janna has been happily hosting Paint Nite since 2018. As a Master Artist, she has garnered a dedicated following with her passion, technique, and delightful sense of humour. She is constantly experimenting with new mediums and her clothes and hands always tell a colourful, messy story. When Janna puts down her paintbrush she can be found baking custom cakes and treats that further showcase her creative talent, and taste delicious too! Come have a drink with her and paint your own masterpiece!
Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Left Field PYO Beer Glasses is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Janna breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Crafts events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
Janna is a real local artist based in toronto — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. 10 out of 11 guests who've painted with Janna say the instruction was amazing. Nithya A. said: 'This is such a great social and artistic experience. Janna is amazing and I learned a lot while meeting some fun people.'
Left Field Brewery (Leslieville) is a local venue in toronto — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Crafts events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.
Yes — we have 133 upcoming events in toronto this month. You can view them here.
Your ticket to Left Field PYO Beer Glasses includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Janna. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Left Field Brewery (Leslieville) — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Left Field Brewery (Leslieville)'s doors open at 11:00 AM, the event starts at 7:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 6:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Janna starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Crafts event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Crafts cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
