This cozy joint, known to locals as the living room, is tucked away in the NorthBrooklyn neighborhood of Greenpoint.  Slick Willie is a charming lil escape' off the beaten path, with open air seating and open kitchen. Slick Willie broadly represents and celebrates the fabric of NorthBrooklyn community, the inclusion of all cultures, the influence of past eras and all those who embrace the daily grind, are opportunistic about life's gifts and who seek the true american dream.

From NYC to the Baja Coast; New England to The Big Easy; Florida Keys to the Mid-West...  our offerings are reflective of the American melting pot and incorporate pan-american staples and favorites.  Our concept entails the simple convergence of multicultural, immigrant & regional interpretations coupled with timeless nostalgic influences of the prohibition, depression, art-deco and modern eras. 

Whether its our tempura style Kansas bbq ribs, corn-masa shrimp.n.grits, peruvian spiced chicken, our chorizo-hash eggs benedict over johnny cakes, cheese stuffed contraband burger, or off-menu grueyere pulled pork cuban sandwich, we aim to fuse the best of pan-american cultural cuisine in a simple home cooked manner.  Menu names are fun nods & references to past and present culture.
