OR.... Paint for free: Bring Three, Go Free
Cats and Van Gogh don't seem like they belong together — until you see it, and then it makes complete sense. That's the painting we're doing this Saturday at Logan's Roadhouse in Chico, and I have been so excited to bring this one out. It's got that swirling, dreamy sky Van Gogh is famous for, but tucked right into it is a cat, and the whole thing just works in this warm, whimsical way that makes people smile the second they see it. I'm Suzy — I paint, I rescue cats, and I genuinely love this stuff — and I'll meet you right where you are, whether you've never held a brush or you paint all the time. We'll build it up together, step by step, and by the end you'll have something on canvas that looks like a real painting, because it is one.
Have more than one KID to bring to the event? Message Me! I can give you a special 'additional kids' discount code.... kids are expencive but creativity for kids is important to me, so I want to be as accessable as much as I can for the kids.
Paintings typically take 2 hours to complete, but give room for an extra 15 minutes for the event. We power through the painting like a bunch of pros or maybe we will want to take little extra time with it.

Two words about what I do every day, Art & Cats. I love all creative mediums but painting is my favorite, I got my degree in painting just for the fun of it. I am here to fulfill your creative needs! My art style is colorful, fun, and whimsical. My main subjects being nature and animals. When I’m not being creative in some way, I’m rescuing cats. My art funds my cat rescue work as I’m 100% voluntary.
Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Van Gogh's Cat is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Suzy breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Suzy is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Logan's Roadhouse Chico, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Yes — Van Gogh's Cat is a Paint Nite favourite for girls nights in Chico. Everyone paints their own canvas, so there's always something to laugh about at the end. If you're planning a bachelorette party or a larger group, private events of 10+ get reserved seating and a custom experience.
Suzy is a real local artist based in Chico — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. 7 out of 8 guests who've painted with Suzy say the instruction was amazing. . said: 'Suzie was an awesome instructor. I had a lot of fun. She taught my friend and I new tips and tricks. I would 100% do it again!'
Logan's Roadhouse Chico is a local venue in Chico — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class. 63% of guests who've attended events at Logan's Roadhouse Chico rated the atmosphere highly.

Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Chico, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Van Gogh's Cat includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Suzy. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Logan's Roadhouse Chico — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Logan's Roadhouse Chico's doors open at 11:00 AM, the event starts at 1:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 12:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Suzy starts the painting.
