Do I need any painting experience?

None. Your artist walks the whole room through the painting stroke by stroke over about two hours, and everyone leaves with a finished canvas. Most guests have never painted before.

Where do I park near Ventura Room?

There's a paid lot near Ventura Room.

Can I order food and drinks during the event?

Yes — the bar and cocktail list stays open while you paint. Food and drinks are ordered from and paid to the venue, and aren't part of your seat price.

How early should I arrive?

Doors open 30 minutes before the painting starts. Come early, grab your seat and order a drink — the artist starts on time.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes — Ventura Room has a wheelchair-accessible entrance and restrooms. If you have specific seating needs, contact the venue ahead of the event and they'll set you up.

Ventura Room is a great place to meet up after work or before a show. My sister, brother and I came before a Just for Laughs show at the QE. Get there before 5:30 for good happy hour deals. We tried the Moroccan cauliflower, dill chips, nuts and olives and a few cocktails. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Great first time here with a drag show -- service was great but the food was just kin'na okay and i felt like my southwest brunch bowl was kind of lacking in substance and flavour (could have used less lettuce and more beans, salsa and southwest flavour, more protien, et al) --- would definitely reccomend but not the southwest shredduce bowl
