The Trop is the newest PaintNite location. It has a great atmosphere and layout for painting. Perfectly nestled in the trendy Marda Loop area, there are more reasons than just PaintNite to come visit here. MrPaintyPants will take you on an artistic journey over the 2 hour event. Follow along as much or as little as you'd like. All supplies provided, just come thirsty and hungry, and wear your painty pants!

The Trop Bar and Grill is a contemporary bar & grill located in the eclectic neighbourhood of Marda Loop. Offering pub fare, several big-screen TVs & a stage for live bands on the weekends, we are the neighbourhood pub you'll leave your neighbourhood for!
I'm a mainly self-taught artist, born and raised in Calgary. I've been hosting PaintNite events since 2015 and am always excited to paint. It never gets old; seeing you wonderful people take these very basic elements of colour and create a unique expression of art. With my events being presented in a relaxing, yet mentally stimulating manner, and along with my dry sense of humor, you're sure to find something enjoyable about the experience of painting with MrPaintyPants
