**Please read carefully**

We will be painting a realistic likeness of a pet (I prefer "animal buddy") of your choosing! Careful, clear step by step guidance will be provided; along with a detailed sketch to assist you (all supplies are provided for use). We will paint on a 12 x 16 canvas so that there is time to achieve great texture and dimension in your portraits!

Several days ahead, I will email a request for a clear, close-up headshot of one of your pets. You may instead wish to paint a loved one's pet as a gift! Please send a clear photo. Please send only one headshot (only the head and neck visible, no background items). Only one animal, no exceptions. Placement/orientation will be at my discretion  It can be any furry, scaly, or feathery friend! :) Yes, I will show you how to add a festive little hat!

No experience or artistic talent is needed, but some dexterity and hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow along with verbal and visual instructions will be helpful. For example, can you print or write your name legibly to fit within the lines on a paper? If so, you can paint the details to achieve some realism. All of the lines will be pre-sketched for you. Brush strokes will be described and demonstrated. Specialty paint will also be provided for extra fun and creativity!
