Mexicali Rosa’s history and culture are legendary in the city and province in which the concept was born, Ottawa, Ontario. The first store opened in Ottawa in 1979. The concept grew rapidly since its inception, and continues to be a steady growth over the last 30 years has ensured Mexicali Rosa’s place in the industry as the largest full service Mexican restaurant chain in Canada.
