First time visiting the manga lounge and it was more than I imagined! The environment was peaceful, clean and they had quite a bit of variety of manga/activities. Seeing a place where Japanese culture is respected and is open for all is awesome. The staff were helpful and friendly. I will definitely return and encourage others to enjoy the lounge at least once (:

This is such an enjoyable and relaxing place to visit! While Murasaki Kakurega obviously caters towards people that enjoy manga, anime, and Japanese culture in general, it has such a friendly and welcoming vibe that I think just about anyone would feel at home here.
It's a great place to stop by to take a breath, relax for an hour, read a story and have some coffee, tea, or (my preference) hot chocolate.
Besides the huge library of manga (all of which are available to purchase) they have a small shop with Japanese snacks and knickknacks that you can buy. Plus, they have a variety of different events that run each month, like movies (with popcorn!) and even a cosplay night with live music.
Unless you've been to Japan, I would suspect that you've never been to a place quite like this! I recommend stopping by and checking it out.

Have been going there for a while now and can honestly say it’s such a great place with great people ! The lounge itself offers for a relaxing experience for any fans of reading , and the many events they have there are so fun !!! Highly recommend for any fans of anime, cosplay, fashion and manga or anyone wanting to try something new 😊
