Butterwood Sweet & Savory is a full service fusion restaurant located in the magnificently restored Hotel Lafayette. Butterwood Sweet & Savory focuses on modern cuisine that plays on the use of sweet ingredients in savory and spicy dishes creating a unique flavor profile available nowhere else in Buffalo.

Our small plates, “flying saucers”, feature dishes with international flavors. And, in the tradition of our bakery, the dining room features a classic brick oven producing inventive pizzas made from our own hand crafted pizza dough.

*There is Free Parking available at the lot across from us in the Buffalo Civic Auto Oak Lot.  It is at Oak, Clinton & Ellicott Streets and is  accessible off Ellicott St., push the green button for Lafayette Hotel Guests, exit is also a button push!  Handicapped spaces are near the corner of Ellicott & Clinton Sts.
